When job hunting, it's always a good idea to do some research on the company you're applying for. Sometimes it really helps to be resourceful because you might regret your decision later on.
There are always two sides to a story. Let me ask you this. What if the job ad that you are looking at right now means...
Job Qualifications:
1. Intelligence (ability to pick up quickly, reasoning ability)
Means we have no specs so you must be smart enough to understand the project.
2. Communication (ability to express clear English)
Means we don't write any documents so everything is verbal. Closely related to #1.
3. Discipline (hardworking, driven)
Means you have to work until 3 AM in the morning. Result of #1 and 2.
4. Responsibility (honora obligations, honesty)
Means multitasking. You have 2 roles in the company - developer and technical support. You write code in the morning and support it in the evening. Related to #3.
5. Creativity (think outside the box)
Means sometimes you must also be the designer. Partly related to #4 and a little to #3.
6. Strategic (cost-benefit thinking, good judgement)
Means our ideal candidate would be - combine items 1 to 5.
So what is your asking salary? :-P
